Faboratory is a developmental platform for digital manufactured technologies.
Its goal is to boost manufactured process through digitalisation.
It was created based on the experience of the Reprap project, and it is in between the experimental manufacturing and open source philosophy. Its objective is to explore and enhance the replicability (DIY) of the manufacturing means through domestic and low-cost technology.
Research, project development (internal and external projects) and dissemination (design filing, workshops, conferences and so on) are its main activities.
Faboratory attempts to be, by generative order: virtual and physical referral space at a local level, a service platform and, above all, a community composed by its users and contributors.
