This piece aims to decontextualise acid house from an aesthetic and formal perspective.
Roc Jiménez de Cisneros carries out a residency at Hangar working in a piece based on a formal extension of acid house aesthetics. The piece forms a further layer in his attempt to decontextualise rave iconic sounds and it follows the work that he has been doing with Stephen Sharp in EVOL. In parallel to the residency he also leads a workshop under the title Post-acid Autònom, an introduction to sound synthesis and generative composer practices.
