Lucía Egaña has a degree in fine arts, a master's degree in documentary and a doctorate in audiovisual communication with a thesis on post-pornography and transfeminism. She is currently part of the academic direction of MACBA Independent Studies Program, where she coordinates the research field of body technologies, and she has recently ended her residency in Hangar art production center.
Maíra is from Rio de Janeiro where she graduated in cinema at the Fluminense Federal Universidad. She worked for a few years in the movie business in Rio, collaborating in feature and short films as production manager, costume designer and art director. In December 2007 she radically changed her career by graduating with honors in the MA Digital Arts at the Pompeu Fabra University, in Barcelona, Spain. During the MA she had the opportunity to know and engage with the art and technology universe and the possibilities of art-oriented programming.
Maja Smrekar was born 1978 in Slovenia. She graduated at the Sculpture Department of Fine Art and Design Academy in collaboration with the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and holds Master of Arts in Video and New Media.
Marcel·lí is internationally recognised by his mechatronics performances and his robotic installations. His works has been showed in multiple festivals, galleries, museums and theatres all over the world, such as Villete in Paris, I.C.A. in London, FILE in Sao Paulo, DAF in Tokyo, DOM Cultural Center in Moscow, DEAF in Rotterdam, Performing Arts Seoul (Korea), among others.
María García Ruiz is an artist and researcher with a background in architecture. Her work questions the processes by which both spatial arrangements and their associated imaginaries are generated.
Mariona Moncunill (Tarragona, 1984) lives and works in Barcelona. She holds a BA in Fine Arts, a Masters in Cultural Management by the University of Barcelona  and she is currently undertaking a PhD Information and Knowledge Society at the UOC. She has also studied at the Koninklijke Academie van Kunsten Beeldende, The Hague.
Mary Maggic is an artist using biohacking methodologies to inform their practice, examining the relationship between biotechnology and cultural discourse. Maggic's most recent projects Open Source Estrogen and Estrofem! Lab generate DIY protocols for the extraction and detection of estrogen hormone from bodies and environments, demonstrating its micro-performativity and potential for mutagenesis, i.e. gender-hacking.
Currently doing a Phd in Visual Arts at the Fine Arts School of the University of Brazil. MA in literature studies by the Federal Fluminense University (2014) wit a thesis about the work of the Uruguayan poet Rafael Courtoisie. BA in Portuguese and Spanish Language and Literature by the Mato Grosso State University (2009). In 2014 he started his career as an independent curator after doing some courses at the Visual Arts School of Parque Lage, and also in Rio de Janeiro.
Dr.Michael Edel is a Group leader and an accredited Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona, Faculty of Medicine with rolling Spanish national project grant funding (equivalent to the Australian NH&MRC grant system). He is an expert in cancer genetics and cell pluripotency. His research is concerned with the role of the cell cycle in attaining a pluripotent state and the development of cancer. His work has appeared in Cell (2005), Nature Biotechnology (2008) and Genes & Development (2010) and two of his publications are in the world´s top 1% most cited.
Minipimer.tv starts its activity in 2008 as a video streaming experimental lab with open source tools. After two years focusing its research on the creative possibilities of digital media, the collective starts two new work lines: a study group on audiovisual performativity and a work group for developing open source tools.
